1st Easter basket!

My parents were wonderful with fun traditions. One of them was the Easter basket! On Easter morning, Lisa and I would wake up to find Easter baskets filled with goodies outside our bedroom door.

This morning, Brandon woke me up at 5:45 am, so the basket had plenty of time to sit outside the door, waiting.
I wanted to post a video, but it's too big. You can see the video on Emma's eachday website, though. I'll try and edit the video to make it smaller.

Here's Emma enjoying her 1st Easter basket!

What was in the basket:

* Tinkerbell stickers (Tink is her favorite. Emma calls her ching-ga-beo.) I like tinkerbell because she's a young Disney character, and although she has a friend named Terrance, there isn't any of that mushy kissy stuff going on.

* Two easter eggs: one filled with sour candy, the other filled with hershey's kisses

* Belle (Disney Princess, Emma call all the disney princesses (Ariel, Belle, Jasmin, Snow White...) as pwincess). Emma hasn't seen Beauty and the Beast, but I like Belle because she studies, reads books and only wanted to have a life with MORE studying and MORE books, and just happened to end up with a prince.

I made the flowers for decoration, tying them to her basket. They are actually hair clips and a ring.

Gotta love the hair!! Here's Emma's hair for Easter Sunday (love what a little bit of hair products, a straightener that curls and a patient baby girl can do):
